A Prayer for Wisdom

"Who ever knew Your counsel, except You had given Wisdom and sent Your Holy Spirit from on high?" —Wisdom 9:17

"Give me Wisdom, the attendant at Your throne" (9:4). "Send her forth from Your holy heavens and from Your glorious throne dispatch her that she may be with me and work with me, that I may know what is Your pleasure" (9:10).
Prayer: Father, may I never settle for anything less than Your will.
Promise: "Now with You is Wisdom, who knows Your works and was present when You made the world; who understands what is pleasing in Your eyes and what is conformable with Your commands." —9:9

It's at times like this that Christians pray special prayers asking for Christian wisdom, direction and safekeeping. The following sample prayer is for people who find themselves at a crossroads in life when they are uncertain about their future:
"Provider of all that I need, today I stand at an intersection and don't know if You are urging me right, left, or straight ahead. I know You hold the reins, and it is by faith that You are leading me, but sometimes it is difficult to be sure of the way.
"How can I serve you best? What do you want of me? I am alone, a small, weak human, devoted to fulfilling my calling, my mission to serve you, but where and in what way am I to accomplish this? It seems like I fail in every endeavor I undertake. I am beginning to fear moving forward in any direction.
"Give me Your vision, Your perspective at this critical point. Make Your call so clear that I step off in the correct direction with assurance and confidence in your strong leading. Whether it be where I live, what I do, or even the timing of my plans, generate within me an unwavering attitude of surety based on the authority of divine direction.
"If the way is rough, remind me to focus on You rather than the road. If I struggle to keep up the pace You set, let me find my rest in You. If my impatience inspires me to run ahead, with Your gentle touch urge me to be steady and patient. Oh, God, if I lose heart, sweeten my path with encouragement. Put a song in my heart that eases my efforts.
"Your Word tells me that there is a time for everything. In this season of decisions, grant me clarity of mind and a conviction that what I do is for Your purpose as I remember that the direction is not as important as the way I conduct myself. Always let my spirit rejoice and be thankful as I serve You in all that I say and do.
"I ask these things in the name of the One Who always chose well. Amen."

Trust Me ...

with every fiber of your being! What I can accomplish in and through you is proportional to how much you depend on Me. One aspect of this is the degree to which you trust Me in a crisis or major decision. Some people fail miserably here, while others are at their best in tough times. Another aspect is even more telling
the constancy of your trust in ME. People who rely on Me in the midst of adversity may forget about Me when life is flowing smoothly. Difficult times can jolt you into awareness of your need for Me., whereas smooth sailing can lull you into the self-sufficiency.

I care as much about your tiny trust-steps through daily life as about your dramatic leap of faith. You may think that no one notices, but the ONE who is always beside you sees everything-and rejoices. Consistently trusting in ME is vital to flourishing in MY Presence.

" I tell you the truth, whatever you Did Not Do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me."
Matthew 25:45

Jesus wasn't asking us to be a social worker, a psychologist or a judge. He was asking us to give, as best we could, and to leave the results to HIM.

Take a Stand

I am a soldier in the Army of God. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct. Faith, Prayer, and the Word of God are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Ghost, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire. I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out. I will Win as My God will supply all my needs, through Him I am more than a conqueror.
  • The devil cannot defeat me
  • People cannot disillusion me
  • Weather cannot weary me
  • Sickness has tried to stop me and it cannot win
  • Battles cannot beat me
  • Money cannot buy me
  • Death cannot destroy me and hell cannot handle me
When God calls me from the battlefield, he will then promote me, I am marching Heaven bound, I'm in the Lord's army. Won't you stand with me.

"Therefore be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints...." Ephesians 6:10-18

Rest in HIS PRESENCE ...

... allowing HIM to take charge of this day. Do not bolt into the day like a racehorse suddenly released. Instead, walk purposefully with HIM, letting HIM direct your course one step at a time. Thank HIM for each blessing along the way; this brings Joy to Him and yourself. A grateful heart protects you from negative thinking. Thankfulness enables you to see the abundance HE showers upon you daily. Your prayers and petitions are winged into heaven's throne room when they are permeated with thanksgiving. In everything give thanks, for this is His will for you.

Corinthians 4:1... 4:12...4:14

So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;when we are slandered, we answer kindly. I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children. Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. Therefore I urge you to imitate me. For this reason I am sending to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church. Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a whip, or in love and with a gentle spirit?

Working His way...

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. - Matthew 7:15-16 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them." - Mark 6:11 These scriptures...came as confirmation that things that make the spirit un easy happen for a reason and through a humble trusting the Lord with All your heart, mind and soul...it will lead you to the truth and even if it should not be, it is what it is....there are those that hold high places in the eyes of humans but are not holding high places in the eyes of God rest assured that God is working HIS way way in a number of individuals as we speak so again all we do is stay in His Peace and JOY! Giving Thanks and Praises to GOD for Truth and Wisdom to know that you know that many are blind to see ...

Trust

“These six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren” (Prov. 6:16-19).

The practice of loving the brethren — all the brethren, not just the lovable ones — keeps us from stumbling. Never forget that Jesus takes personally how we entreat our Christian brothers and sisters. When we love even the “least” of our brethren, Jesus accepts that love toward Himself (Matt. 25:40).

You cannot love the Lord any more than you love the least in the body of Christ. “If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (1 John 4:20).

“Thus says the LORD: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD” (Jer. 17:5)

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer” (2 Timothy 2:14-17).

Philippians 1:9-10

And this be my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). Jesus did not pray for a short-lived, unnatural similarity that would make an impression on people. He prayed for a timeless and heartfelt singleness that would bear witness to Jesus and prove to the cradle of humanity that He was sent by God. We love one another because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). Our prayer in this area of oneness should exemplify the mind of Paul to the Romans: May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God (Romans 15:5-7). One of the major causes of divisions among God’s people is majoring on the externals and neglecting or ignoring the internals. We build on accidentals, not on essentials. God help us to refocus our attention upon that which matters most. The next time we are tempted to declare war on a brother or sister, even if it is in thought. For when one takes action and speaks the words to another what do you think God thinks about these thoughts and action? Especially when they do not say to you "brother, sister why have you spoken against me, you who do not even know me? But those who are quiet and say nothing stay strong in the Lord as they know God looks over them and knows their heart when you do not. Only speak words that uplift eachother please the Heavenly Father says, why do you speak this way and spread this disease with your tongue that only defiles you? We can only pray this and say "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do, even when they do or should know better but as You have given us the freedom of choice and we as humans in the flesh at times disobey you and to know that we know to forgive those who tresspass against us, whether it be in thought or action. Our goal will Be to See God and have Him look at us at the end of our time and say: "Well done my child, Your race is over You have fought the good fight and you've kept the faith Enter into the EverLasting JOY of the LORD! Well Done My Child!

You Are My Hiding Place.

dear Lord

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. You have done so much for me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me repent, and confess with my mouth of my wrongdoing, and receive forgiveness. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I believe that You change people and You change things for good reasons. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every one of my family members and friends and their families . I pray for peace, love and joy and that all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than You. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly. Amen

keep a pure heart...

God is going to bless His people. Habakkuk 3:17-18 says: "Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." We can't control what people do around us or when people work against us, but we can control how we react. We can say, "No matter what happens around me or what others choose to do, I'll rejoice in the Lord." God wants us to look on the positive side. If our heart's not right, we can't uphold the standard of God's Word. We may try in the flesh, but if we don't have the Word and the Spirit working together, though you have understanding, we can't uphold it. It'll quickly fade away. I thank God that we each can have a pure heart. If we keep our heart pure, God will honor that. Friend, none of us knows how much time we have left on this earth before the Lord comes again. The way things are looking causes us to think it won't be long. However, we need to continue to work with and for God. I once read a story about a king and his kingdom. The king called in two servants. He told the first servant, "I want you to go throughout the kingdom and gather weeds of all different varieties and bring them back to me." Then the king told the other servant, "I want you to go around the kingdom and gather flowers of all different kinds and bring them back to me." He told them that they each had one week, and then the two servants went out. The first servant came back after a week with armfuls of all different kinds of weeds. He said, "I never knew there were so many weeds. I'm convinced that all we have in this kingdom is weeds." Soon the other servant returned and said, "Look at all these flowers. I didn't realize we had so many flowers. We have flowers of every variety imaginable. The way I see it, all we have in this kingdom is flowers." One servant saw only weeds; the other one saw only flowers. Why was that? That was what they were looking for. The man who was looking for weeds found weeds, and the man who was looking for flowers found flowers.
Likewise, if we look for negative things, that's what we're going to see. On the other hand, if we look for positive things and look to help others, we'll be lifted. We find what we look for. God is faithful to His people. If we seek Him for help and divine direction, He'll give us what we need. We should look for positive things and be thankful. "Be Careful for Nothing" Paul said in Philippians 4:4-6: "Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Paul said, "Be careful for nothing." We need to pray about everything. Sometimes people forget to pray about the little things which are really the most important things for us to be able to learn to trust in HIM always.
